1. Who we are

Clovet ("we", "us") is a social app for sharing and passing on clothing and other items between friends. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are.

2. Data we collect

3. How we use your data

We do not sell your personal data and we do not run third-party advertising.

4. Who can see your content

Posts and "Looking for" items are visible only to your friends and, if you opt in, friends-of-friends. Chats are visible only to the participants. Your profile (name, username, avatar) is visible to other signed-in users.

5. Storage & processors

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase) inside the EU/EEA where available. Authentication, database and file storage are provided by these processors under contract.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a post, chat or account, the related data is removed from the active database. Backups may persist for a limited period.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us to exercise these rights. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Children

Clovet is not intended for children under 16.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be communicated in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
